CFAES relies on State and Federal Capacity Funds as well as County funding to support our land-grant mission. To continue to best serve Ohioans, we are refining processes to determine priorities within the Capacity Funds and which help define our land-grant mission. In essence, we are exploring a process to determine the minimum we should do to be responsive and accountable and then ways to integrate that into a larger portfolio of our overall work.
You are invited to the first phase of this work, which is one of the planned discussions to consider how best to interpret our funding obligations with the State and Federal funds, and to give input on data sources to help us refine our priorities. These discussions will guide the development of a process focused on the distribution of capacity fund resources for infrastructure and to ensure essential expertise among faculty and staff across our CFAES Columbus, Wooster, and State-Wide campuses.
These discussions are only focused on State and Federal Capacity Funds – not all sources of CFAES funding and not all research, extension, or educational programs.
Please RSVP below by October 14 to join us for one of the following sessions. Please note that discussion sessions are in person, except for the two virtual sessions noted. Sessions will be capped to keep group sizes consistent. If a session is full when you register, please consider another session listed.
